Stand-up Paddle Board champions John Hibbard and 6 year old Blue Ewer joined Professional Surfer Ben Skinner, Olympic Medallists and World Record holding athletes on Plymouth’s (UK) historical Mayflower Steps as Paul Deighton, Chief Executive of The London 2012 Olympic Organising Committee fired the starting cannon to one of the UK’s most important races to date, the race for our oceans and environment.

Elliot Dudley approaching the finish line

Elliot Dudley was in blistering form at this years paddle round the pier in Brighton 0n 4th & 5th July. Following his success in the BSUPA round 2 distance race at Gwithian in June Elliot made the 20 mile race (10 miles upwind and 10 miles downwind) look easy.

We have got news from Hawaii that the Stand Up World Tour and the set up of the Association of Stand Up Paddle Professionals (A.S.U.P.P.) has taken place. The events are invite only and take place in three locations, Teahupoo, (Tahiti), Ocean Beach (California) and Makaha (Hawaii).
